in 1516, The Jolly Sailor is one of the oldest pubs in Britain.
Known as the ‘Jolly’, the main beam in the bar came from a
French ship captured at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. There is
a full bar menu available every evening all year round and every
lunchtime in the summer. Lunches are available Friday, Saturday
and Sunday in the winter months. Real ales include Courage Best,
Sharps Doombar and guest ales.
